Catbriar Farm
Catbriar Farm is located in scenic Caswell County. Graham and Sara were living in mid-town Atlanta in the spring of 1978 when they bought a tobacco farm of 103 acres. Thirty years later with over 300 acres in garden, pasture, planted pines and hardwood trees, they believe stewardship to the land begins with hard work and dedication.
Over the years they have raised chickens, sheep, goats, beef cattle, and two terrific children--Rebecca and Russell. Graham bales hay for their cattle and to sell to neighbors. The garden has evolved from a family sized plot for freezing and canning to a full-time endeavor for Graham's retirement.
Since 2002, they have been selling produce at the Durham Farmer's Market. They offer a variety of fresh, nutritious produce during the entire market season. Sara is also experimenting with herbs.
